With “Chargebox”, the Open Charge Point Protocol (OCPP) means the micro-controller within a charging station. The chargebox ensures the uniqueness of a charging station in the system using the so-called Chargebox Identity (CBID). In theory, this controller could be removed and installed in another station.
If a new digital twin needs to be created for this in Gridware, the CBID must also be reassigned. Otherwise, Gridware would assume that it is still one and the same station – which works fine as long as the model and manufacturer do not change.
