Contract-users are the customers of an EMP that is registered in Gridware. The contract between the EMP and it’s customers can have a B2B or B2B2B character and usually includes information about the authorizing process.
Contract users are usually billed by means of a subsequent invoice – ie “postpaid”, whereby all charging processes are summarized in information on which the invoice is based, for which the same cost unit was determined.
In contrast, there are spontaneous users who are billed using Pay-as-you-Go.
In B2C context, it is conceivable to bill contract users using previously loaded credit (“prepaid top-up”).
